Meet the team
In To Lunch have a dedicated team committed to bringing
you the best possible quality food and catering for your
event.
Nick
Curran I
started the business in April 1996 and have built it
into a thriving business. My background is in Hotel
Management, where I studied at what is now Bournemouth
University and
worked in various hotels in the UK and also in
Switzerland. After giving up Rugby when I turned 40, I
took up Road Cycling and cycle every Sunday for 50+
miles. In July we are cycling to Montpelier in France
over 9 days. Rachel Curran
Rachel, my wife, whilst still a
Director of the company now works in Redhill as a legal
secretary, having left working for the company in January last year.
Our daughter Charlotte, who is 12,
now attends St Bedes School.
Kathy Lavery
Kathy has been with me for over 6
years and has climbed the ranks of In To Lunch. She is
now full-time and assists in the daily running of the
business. Starting at 7 o’clock, she makes the majority
of the sandwiches and makes many of the homemade
savouries as well as the meringues. Kathy reads a lot,
attends the gym and enjoys the company of her 3 year old
Granddaughter. She walks a lot as neither her nor her
husband drive.
Sheila Gibson
Sheila has been with me for over 5
years, living in the next road to me. She makes savoury
and sweet items for the freezer, her forte being Chilli
Cheese Straws, pastry and her delicious cakes. Sheila
can be seen on the right making Sausage Whirls. Sheila
regularly decorates Birthday and Wedding cakes and
enjoys making homemade cards. Charlotte assisted Sheila
on making the Christmas cards last year.
Sharon Stainsby
Sharon has been with me for nearly
4 years. She is a very versatile and flexible person,
having originally been taken on to assist in the office
when Rachel had an operation. She has worked in the
kitchen and helped with the sandwich round. Sharon now
finds herself back in the office typing and
book-keeping, as well as doing deliveries. When not at
In To Lunch, she is a full-time mum with 6 children (at
the last count.) She enjoys Gardening and Crosswords.
Lynne Hugget
Lynne has been with me for over 2
years and is a general assistant in the kitchen. Her
duties include the jobs no-one else likes doing any
more, being the junior at 40! The only way is up. She
also assists in deliveries. When not working she is a
lady of leisure.
Emma Budgen
Emma has been with me for over 1
year. She worked behind the bar at the Plough at
lunchtime and, since September, has worked one morning a
week assisting in the kitchen. Emma’s mother is Kathy
and she has a daughter, Eloise, who is 3.
